- I've got a major problem with my 1200 recognizing a root directory.
- It has to do with my hard-drive
- It's been saying that my "WORK" dir is not Validated. Specificaly it says when I boot up," Error validating Work
- Block 1819044972 out of range"
-
- Ive tried to use DiskSalv11_35 I think. I tried Repairing, Salvaging, and
- Validating. It got rid of some errors. As it stands It recognizes all the
- programs I have but I can not write to the harddrive, or delete, or move, ect.
-
- I don't want to have to completely reformate if I can avoid it.
- My brother had a problem with his hard-drive when he got his 4000 and he tried
- reformating and it didn't quite work the same, a year later its almost it the
- place where he wants it.
-
- At any rate can someone give me a solution as to what I can do to fix this
- problem. I click on the "Work" icon and went to info and it say that it is
- validated, I also know that there is atleast 10Megs of space available
- even though it says it is full.
-
- What gives?
-
- Thanks,
- email me please.... wcrane@ecst.csuchico.edu
